The moment
we were walking
next to
each other,
it didn’t matter
it was a foggy day
as our conversation transformed
the yellow leaves
into something
much brighter
than the white, cloudy sky
could ever be
make you sad
Livia read this poem at our second meeting on the 9th of May 2017. It was written in the autumn of 2016, for a person who taught her how to renovate the picture she had painted of herself and who is dear to her despite the distance. Definitely check out Livia’s writing blog.
