On 22 November 2020 at 8 PM, the SWS is hosting their second Meet the Professional event and this time, you’ll get the opportunity to meet award-winning author and Sales and Marketing Director Phil Earle — and we’re giving away one ticket, yay! 
To participate, send an email to writing@univierse.univie.org with the subject line “My Favourite Phil” and tell us about your favorite Phil. All Phils do count and it doesn’t matter whether yours is real, fictional or has just been invented! Submission is open till November 19, 11:59 PM. The winner will be contacted via email afterward. 
Why should you join this event with Phil Earle?
On the one hand, Phil has written over a dozen books for young readers including ‘Being Billy’ which was shortlisted for both the Waterstones and Branford Boase book awards and ‘Get Me Out Of Here’ which he co-wrote with SAS soldier-turned-author, Andy McNab.While on the other hand, Phil has an intimate knowledge of how the publishing industry and bookselling really works. Not only can he write brilliant books, he knows how to get them into the hands of readers too.
