As one of our special August On the Move: Sundays Lovely Sundays events, we met for our annual Poetry Picnic. After finger sandwiches, licorice, intriguing conversations and a sprinkle of song, we finally engaged in some writing!
Pass the Poem is an activity where each person writes one line of a poem then everyone passes the poem to the right. The previously crafted lines are visible to each poet to encourage a collaboration of storytelling. We had one major theme (and of course permission to write whatever came to mind): YOUTH.
